Particular attention is paid to the following subjects:
-Wavelet analysis: summary of the possibilities; application to detection in natural background radiation and extraction of primitive invariants.
-The concept of Multirate Filter Banks in conjunction with the various transforms which this tenchnique enables; applications to compressed video image and sequence traansmission, to noise rejection, to jamming and to encoding.
-Variational methods based on partial derivative equations for image processing and multi-scale video sequences; presentation of different image segmentation approaches;
-Multi-sensor processing based on the theory of ambiguous observations, or tracking, with the aim of solving problems such as data modelling, decision making, the management of non-uniform reference systems, or the integration of contextual knowledge.AGARD Advisory Group. 2 AR-P.ESPETags : Transports Aériens Histoire Historique Patrimoine Aviation Aéronautique Avions Illustration PAN AM Image Index. décimale : 629.130 22 Aéronautique - Illustrations Résumé : PAN AM an American World Airways could be considered a corporate Cinderella-a rags-to-riches-and-back-again phenomenon. From its founding in 1927 and its relatively obscure inauguration as a mail carrier on a 90-mile mail run from Florida's Key West to Cuba, Pan Am's route tem grew to span the globe. The company that would eventually become famous for its blue-and-white-world logo grew into a conglomerate of hotels, airlines, business jets, real estate, helicopter service, and even a guided missiles range division. But financial problems plagued Pan Am in its last two decades, and in 1991, Pan American World Airways ceased flying after 64 years a of service. The story of Pan Am is as much the story of president Juan T. Trippe as it is an account of airplanes,pilots, flight attendants, and glamorous destinations. As the company moved throughout the world building airfields from jungles, crossing oceans, and forcing the development of new airplanes Pan Am was the first airline to use radio communications, to employ cabin attendants and serve meals aloft, and to complete world flight. The company's achievements were legendary, but its failures, tragedies, and disasters were also part of a complex corporate life. In this fascinating tribute to Pan Am's legacy, authors Lynn M. Homan and Thomas Reilly have combined a detailed narrative with Trippe's airline and his vision. A global pioneer, it was an around-the- vintage images from private collections and the Florida State Archives in order to tell the tale of this once-great international airline. Showcasing photographs, advertisements, and other memorabilia, Pan Am documents and illustrates the rise and fall of an aviation legend. IMAGES of Aviation PAN AM [texte imprimé] / Lynn M.
