Résumé :	Our dependance on space-based assets has grown as these have become an integral part of critical national and international infrastructures and crucial elements in our daily lives. This increasing and more diverse use of outer space has brought with it legitimate concerns about the security of space-based assets. It has also generated much-needed debate about the nature of space security. The challenge today is to preserve both the security of outer space objetcs and the unrestricted access to outer space by all nations.
